HockeyGiant.com is a division of Sports Giant LLC. To ensure a dynamic, real-time display of available stock, HockeyGiant.com needed to integrate warehouse management and inventory data to its Yahoo Web Storefront and ultimately its front office billing and accounting systems. The Online eBridge 4.1 was used to provide seamless integration between the Yahoo Web Storefront and the Best Enterprise Suite, resident on the client side web server behind a firewall. To satisfy HockeyGiant.com’s need for real-time inventory checks, eBRIDGE configured the program to allow for real-time querying of the Best inventory to determine available quantity for the web store and sales order posting to the BES accounting program by web store request.
